حلوا ارده ممتاز باید نرم باشد به طوری که وقتی در دهان گذاشته میشود ، آب شده و نیاز به جویدن نداشته باشد ته گلو را نباید بسوزاند . رنگ حلواارده باید کرم روشن باشد که آن هم مربوط به نوع کنجد است. حلواارده باید در موقع برش،شکل خود را حفظ کرده و خرد نشود . حلواارده نباید سخت یا کشدار باشد. به عبارتی باید بار حلوا رسیده باشد که به دندان نچسبد.
